Description: Join us for an interactive virtual training designed specifically for aging service professionals working with older adults in community-based settings and programs. In our time together, we’ll explore verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, effective phrases to use to defuse tension, and situational awareness skills that can be immediately applied in your day-to-day interactions.
Whether in group settings or during one-on-one home visits, you’ll gain tools that align with a trauma-informed approach. Together, we’ll build on our shared experiences, strengthen our confidence in responding to challenging situations, and walk away with concrete strategies that support respectful, compassionate care in every setting.
