Description: Join us for an interactive virtual training designed specifically for aging service professionals working with older adults in community-based settings and programs.
As direct care providers, it is important to acknowledge our own experiences so that we can better support our clients. Many working in the field may have lived experience of trauma, above and beyond the vicarious trauma we experience through our work. This session offers psychoeducation on how trauma manifests, with experiential activities to promote healing.
